‘I Am a Padawan’ Little Golden Book Coming in April 2020
Ahsoka Tano will finally get her own Little Golden Book, written by Ashley Eckstein.
The Little Golden Book series has been entertaining and educating younglings since the 1940s and their collection of Star Wars-themed picture books are perfect for young fans wanting to take their first steps into a larger world. Recent entries have featured fan favourites such as Rey, Finn, Luke Skywalker, and Leia Organa but none have really explored the Clone Wars era in any real depth… until now.
Voice actress and Her Universe founder Ashley Eckstein has teamed up with Golden Books to write a brand new Little Golden Book title, I Am a Padawan, which will follow the journey of Padawan Ahsoka Tano as she “learns the mysterious ways of the Force from her Jedi teachers Anakin Skywalker, Yoda, and Obi-Wan Kenobi”.
Featuring art from Shane Clester, this 24-page illustrated hardcover book will be released on April 7, 2020, and will cost around $5.00. And although the book is aimed at a very young readership, the interior art alone will no doubt make I Am a Padawan a fine addition to any Ahsoka fan’s collection.
