RockLove Reveals Their Limited Edition Ahsoka Tano Ring
Show your love for Ahsoka Tano by putting a ring on it!
Geek fashion has made some massive strides in recent years thanks to companies such as Her Universe and Elhoffer Design and if you’re looking for some geek chic accessories to add to your collection, you’ll be pleased to hear that RockLove Jewelry’s brand new line of Star Wars-themed jewellery includes a tasteful homage to our beloved Snips.
Designed by Allison Cimino in collaboration with Ashley Eckstein, the Ahsoka Tano ring is part of RockLove’s Star Wars Collection and will make its public debut at San Diego Comic Con later this month. This highly anticipated jewellery line includes a number of planetary medallions, GNK droid and AT-AT necklaces (featuring articulated legs!), and an adorable set of Jawa earrings.
RockLove is no stranger to geek fashion; Cimino has designed accessories for Disney, Marvel, and the Star Trek franchise and is renowned for her attention to detail and craftsmanship. The Ahsoka Tano ring is no exception. Ahsoka’s montrals have been sculpted in sterling silver and decorated with alternating bands of white and grey-blue hand-painted enamel, while polished sterling silver has been used to recreate her akul teeth headdress and silka beads.
And if you look closely, you’ll notice that the now iconic phrase “Ahsoka Lives” has been engraved inside the band. You can thank Ashley Eckstein for that charming little detail. In fact, if you’re interested in learning more about the design process of this ring and the rest of RockLove’s new collection, check out StarWars.Com’s interview with RockLove CEO Allison Cimino.
The ring costs $85 apiece and will be available in American sizes 5-10. Each ring will come packaged in a snazzy RockLove Collector’s Box and will include an authenticity card signed by Ashley Eckstein herself, making it the perfect gift for yourself or the Ahsoka Tano fan in your life.
Like most Ahsoka merchandise these days, the ring will be a limited edition item and it can be only purchased at the Lucasfilm Star Wars Pavilion (booth #2913-N) at San Diego Comic Con or online via the RockLove website. Both points of sale open at 9:00 a.m. PST on July 18, 2019, so don’t forget to set your alarm clocks to avoid bitter disappointment!
