James Raiz’s Ahsoka Sketch Featured on ‘The Star Wars Show’
The BoxOfficeArtist makes his second appearance on 'The Star Wars Show'
If you tuned in to watch Ashley Eckstein on The Star Wars Show on June 28, you may have noticed that her interview with Andi Gutierrez was immediately followed by a segment about James Raiz’s saga-spanning hand-drawn artwork, a project he began in November 2016 and took upwards of 400 hours to complete.
The final piece did not include any of the animation-only characters from The Clone Wars or Star Wars Rebels due to its focus on the live-action films, but don’t worry. It turns out that James does know who Ahsoka Tano is and you can find a time-lapse video of his Ahsoka ink sketch in this week’s episode of The Star Wars Show.

Ahsoka Tano ink sketch by James Raiz (aka TheBoxOfficeArtist)
Update: Not long after this article was published, James uploaded a full-colour speed drawing video to his Youtube channel.
This mini tutorial was recorded when he prepared the ink sketch for The Star Wars Show and shows most of the techniques he used to bring Ahsoka to life on paper. All I can say is, the already breathtaking black-and-white ink sketch is even more stunning in full colour. I wonder if he’s considered selling this piece as an art print…
