Ahsoka Tano to Get Her Own ‘Forces of Destiny’ Adventure Figure
Hasbro's range of 'Star Wars: Forces of Destiny' adventure figures will be released later this year
Back in mid-April, Lucasfilm and Disney announced Star Wars: Forces of Destiny, a brand new series of 2D animated shorts starring our favourite Star Wars heroines.
A whole range of Forces of Destiny-themed merchandise is in the works, including bedding, apparel, cosplay accessories, and books. But perhaps the item I’m most excited about is this stunning Ahsoka Tano adventure figure, which will be out later this year (exact date TBC but she should be in the stores by December at some point this century).
Update: The adventure figure is finally out and available to order on Amazon and Amazon UK!

The 11-inch adventure figure made its public debut during the Heroines of Star Wars panel at Star Wars Celebration Orlando, when panel host Amy Ratcliffe handed out figures of Rey, Sabine Wren, and Ahsoka to their real-life counterparts on stage.
Every figure in Hasbro’s Forces of Destiny adventure figure line will include multiple points of articulation and a number of character-specific accessories. For example, Sabine Wren will be packaged with her dual blasters and colourful Mandalorian helmet.

In Ahsoka’s case, accessories will include her signature dual lightsabers and an unexpected (but not unwelcome) companion, a tooka.
While the Forces of Destiny brand is primarily geared towards the younger female fan base, Lucasfilm and Hasbro hope that the range will appeal to a much wider fan base, regardless of age or gender.
The adventure figures – which are a fusion of traditional dolls and action figures – will allow fans of all ages to recreate some of their favourite scenes from the TV shows or films. What’s more, the figure range will expand to include other iconic characters from the Star Wars universe, including the our favourite Wookiee, Chewbacca, loveable droid BB-8, and the sinister Kylo Ren.

I don’t have an exact date but I’ve heard she might be out in September (maybe around Force Friday). As soon as I have a confirmed date, I’ll update the article. 🙂
