‘Heroines of Star Wars’ Panel to be Held at Star Wars Celebration Orlando
Celebration Orlando panel will celebrate the strong female characters of the 'Star Wars' universe
The Star Wars Celebration Orlando panel line-up is looking strong and diverse, with panels such as ‘The Growing Galaxy of Women’s Star Wars Fashion’, ‘Food and Fandom: Star Wars Recipes’, ‘History of Droid Building’, and ‘LGBTQ+ in the Galaxy Far, Far Away’.
One of the panels to look out for if you’re a fan of The Clone Wars and/or Star Wars Rebels is ‘The Heroines of Star Wars’, which will take place on the Star Wars Galaxy Stage on Friday 14 April 2017.
This hour-long panel will kick off at 15:30 local time and will be hosted by entertainment reporter and podcaster Amy Ratcliffe. She’ll be joined on the stage by Dave Filoni, Carrie Beck (Lucasfilm Story Group), actress Tiya Sircar (who voices Sabine Wren on Star Wars Rebels), and Ashley Eckstein (voice of Ahsoka Tano) to talk about the female characters of the Star Wars universe, the importance of these role models, how they’ve inspired generations of fans, and where we might see some of them next.
Could we finally find out what happened to Ahsoka following her duel with Darth Vader? Does Lucasfilm have any exciting plans in store for Ahsoka and/or Sabine? I guess we’ll find out on April 14!
