The hugely popular Star Wars Celebration Art Show is known for showcasing work by some of the fandom’s most talented artists and this year’s show in Orlando will be no exception.
A total of 32 pieces will be on display at Star Wars Celebration Orlando and while Rogue One and the Original Trilogy are heavily represented this year, there’s a few items of interest for fans of the animated series The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels.
Last year, Ahsoka Tano fans had the chance to buy prints of Kaela Croft’s beautiful homage to Ahsoka Tano. One of these limited edition prints is now hanging on the wall of my home office (I couldn’t resist).
Fans attending Celebration Orlando this April should keep their eyes open for not one, but two pieces of officially licensed art featuring our beloved Snips: “I Am No Jedi” by Danny Haas and Lin Zy’s Japanese-style scroll painting, “Journey Into the Underworld”.
Ahsoka can also be spotted on a number of other officially licensed prints, including Jeff Carlisle’s adorable 40th anniversary tribute, “Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow”.
Many of the prints on sale at Celebration Orlando can be pre-ordered on Dark Ink up until midday PDT on April 7, 2017. The Lin Zy print cannot be pre-ordered on Dark Ink but it can be pre-ordered via Matt Busch Online and will be available for purchase and pick-up at booth #2610 (see the floor map).
Please keep in mind that pre-ordered prints can only be picked up in person. If you cannot make it to the convention, you can ask a friend or family member to collect it for you. Visit the Dark Ink site for more information on payments and pick-up.
Will you be attending Celebration Orlando? If so, which prints are you thinking of buying?
