It’s the first Friday of 2017 and that means it’s time for a brand-new edition of Fan Art Friday, our weekly feature that turns the spotlight on some of the best Ahsoka Tano fan art on the internet.

Following the heart-breaking loss of Star Wars royalty over the Christmas period, I’m dedicating this week’s Fan Art Friday to the late and great Carrie Fisher.

While Princess Leia and Ahsoka Tano never met face to face (as far as we know), some fan artists have visualized alternate realities where the tragic events of Revenge of the Sith never took place and the Skywalker family had a happier, brighter future than the one we’re all familiar with. Others simply imagined scenarios where fellow rebels Ahsoka and Leia may have shared a conversation or two.

Airinn – “Ahsoka and the Skywalker Twins”

Ever wondered what life would have been like if Anakin hadn’t turned to the Dark Side and everyone just lived happily ever after? Well, Erin Matthews (aka Airinn) gives us a glimpse of that alternate reality in this sketch depicting “Aunty” Ahsoka and the Skywalker twins.

Shorelle – “Ahsoka and Leia AU”

And, last but not least, Shorelle imagines an alternate reality where Ahsoka had trained Leia as a Jedi….but Anakin was still the same old Vader.
