Star Wars Peg Dolls
The cute factor of @StarWarsPeg's wooden peg dolls is immeasurable
It seems like not a day goes by without me discovering yet another talented fan artist or creative type within the Star Wars fan community. Whether they’re working on a fan comic, crafting a screen-accurate prop, or putting a unique twist on a classic costume, their exceptional skills and creativity never cease to amaze me.
This time, I’d like to draw your attention to the Twitter account @StarWarsPeg, whose admin makes the most adorable and colourful wooden peg dolls of Star Wars characters this side of the galaxy.
While it’s hard to say who the artist’s favourite character is, I’m glad to see that Ahsoka Tano is well represented and that he has brought almost every iteration and costume of Ahsoka’s to life in peg doll form at some point.
And it’s not just Ahsoka Tano. The artist has created peg dolls for virtually every named character from the seven saga films, The Clone Wars, The Freemaker Adventures, and Star Wars Rebels.
You’ll even find peg dolls for Ransolm Casterfo and Greer Sonnel from Claudia Gray’s best-selling novel, Bloodline, and popular characters from the comics, such as Dr Aphra.
The artist is currently selling some of his peg dolls via his Etsy store so if you’re interested, visit the store today and treat yourself or a friend to a unique (and utterly adorable) gift! And if you’d like to see more of his dolls, you can follow him on Twitter.
